The renewal cycle for professional indemnity insurance for 2025-2026 has commenced. For practising certificate purposes, ABC Insurance is awaiting approval from the Attorney General of NSW. Given the practising certificate cycle commenced on 1 April 2025, we assume that a decision is imminent.

We are aware that the Attorney General of NSW has obtained independent advice confirming that ABC’s insurance policy meets the objective standards in s 210(1) of the Legal Profession Uniform Law, including the minimum standards.
